Welcome Back to School!

Red Rock Families,

We hope you had a great summer.  The Red Rock Elementary Staff is excited to get to know all of our new and returning students and families.   We look forward to a rigorous year of education and learning. We are anticipating our PARCC test results late August or early September.  We will be sharing your students results with you as soon as possible.

This year we are focusing on improving student growth in the areas of math and writing.  Our goal is to show 10% growth in both areas; we are sure this can be done.  Another area we would like to improve upon is attendance.  We are asking for your help in making sure your student attends school regularly, is on time each day and to limit the number of check outs.  The more your child is in school, the more he or she is learning.

One more thing, just a friendly reminder that every Friday is Early Release Friday.  Please make arrangements to pick your child up at 12:30 or be waiting for the students who walk or ride the bus.  If you are ever late picking your child up after school you may park and walk into the Library to retrieve your child.

Please help us make this year a great experience for your child at Red Rock Elementary!

Sharmyn Munoz, Principal

Congratulation to Red Rock Elementary students.  Our scores are in and we have moved from a "C" rating to a "B" rating.  Great job for becoming a "B" school once again.
